A man of stone,
Whom never took a throne.
Loved by all!
Misunderstood by most.
Never let his loved ones fall.
Always stood his post.
A twinkle in his eye
And a snarl to his smile.
We lose him with a sigh
No other man could follow his life’s long hard Mile.
An Angel no doubt! (In devil’s cloths)
Lucky, we are to know his heart, With him we’ll never part.
We’ll commence in happiness to have
Known this amazing soul!
His memory we’ll never let go!
Blessed Be.

Paul Sweeney - June 29th, 2018
I am sad to hear of Mark's passing.

Mark and I started our first band together, we used his older brother's drums (he was away in the navy) and his Mom (our bus driver) bought him a Fender Precission Bass, the best there was.  We both learned Wipeout, and took turns playing the songs on the radio ... the drums said "The Cordells", the name of his brother's band.

Most weekends I would walk to Marks house and we would build model cars ... I learned to drive in their fields, and how to crash an opponant on their trampoline.

I will never forget my best friend.  Once we were smoking ciggaretts while sitting on a telephone pole (they were building Worthing Woods subdivision) well that pole started rolling and Mark was pinned under it as it rolled over him.  I ran to his house and Mrs Kreutz got the truck and away we went to the hospital.  I believe he kept a slight limp as a result.  I never smoked again.

So many stories, I wish I could be there with you all to tell them.

God blessed Mark with a very great heart, he touched us all with it.
